The report shows the difference between a country's imports and exports and is a significant part of balance of रुझान संकेतक payments. Trade deficit means that the country imports more than it exports, while trade surplus indicates the opposite. Surplus or declining deficit often signifies increased demand for the currency.

Fundamental analysis and economic indicators

Fundamental analysis is the study of how economy of the country affects its currency rate, which mainly involves interpretation of statistical reports and economic indicators. Hundreds of economic news and reports released daily allow, to some extent, to predict whether the currency value will appreciate or depreciate in future and when reversal of the current trend may be expected.

Date and time when a particular report or indicator due to be released is scheduled in advance and can be found in the Economic Calendar. It is the main tool analysts use to determine the impact news may have. It also shows experts forecasts of the data to be announced.

Central Bank and Interest Rates

Since a central bank is often responsible for handling country's financial matters, the policy it is pursuing has a profound impact on the currency rates. For instance, to increase the value it can buy the currency and hold it in its reserves. In order to decrease the rate, the reserves are sold back to the market.

When an increase in consumer spending is required, the Central bank may lower interest rate on the loans it provides to commercial banks. If it aims to slow inflation, the interest rates are increased in order to reduce spending.

Depending on whether is it more concerned on inflation or growth, central bank's policy can be referred as to "hawkish" or "dovish". The former usually leads to higher interest rates, while the latter commonly signifies that the interest rate are about to be decreased.

Inflation

Inflation evaluates how fast the price of goods and services is rising and has a direct impact on the supply and demand for currency and thus affects its rate. The major inflation indicators are:

• Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
  GDP evaluates all goods and services produced during the reporting period. An increase in GDP signifies economy growth and therefore it is used to measure inflation.
  Released: advance - four weeks after quarter ends; final - three months after quarter ends; time: 15.30 EET (14.30 EEST).
• Consumer Price Index (CPI)
  CPI measures the value of defined basket of goods and services expressed as an index. When compared to the previous results, CPI shows how consumer buying power has changed and how it was affected by inflation.
  Released: Monthly, approximately mid-month; time: 15.30 EET (14.30 EEST).
• Producers price index (PPI)
  This indicator shows the changes in the prices that producers received and allows to evaluate how the consumer level price could be affected.
  Released: second or third week of the month; time: 15.30 EET (14.30 EEST).

बढ़ती बेरोजगारी के उलझे रुझान

हाल-फिलहाल के अधिकांश संकेतक यही बताते हैं कि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था की गति धीमी हो रही है। आम सहमति इस बात पर भी है कि आर्थिक मंदी काफी हद तक कमजोर मांग (खासकर ग्रामीण भारत में) का नतीजा है। इस कमतर मांग ने बेशक समग्र विकास दर को प्रभावित किया है, लेकिन अर्थव्यवस्था में नौकरियों की उपलब्धता को इसने खासा नुकसान पहुंचाया है, रुझान संकेतक जबकि देश की आर्थिकी पर पहले से ही ‘जॉबलेस ग्रोथ’, यानी रोजगारहीन विकास की काली छाया पसरी हुई है।भारत में रोजगार की रुझान संकेतक समस्या आखिर कितनी गंभीर है? सरकारी अर्थशास्त्री और राजनेता ‘जॉबलेस ग्रोथ’ के ऐसे किसी दावे को पिछली राष्ट्रीय जनतांत्रिक गठबंधन (एनडीए) सरकार के दौरान पैदा हुई नौकरियां गिनाते हुए खारिज कर देते हैं। मगर कई स्रोत बताते हैं कि देश रोजगार सृजन के गंभीर संकट से जूझ रहा है।

निगम प्रबंध संचालक ने आकांक्षी जिला के विभिन्न संकेतक के संबंध में ली समीक्षा बैठक

राजनांदगांव। संचालक भौमिकी एवं खनिकर्म तथा प्रबंध संचालक छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य खनिज विकास निगम जयप्रकाश मौर्य ने आज आकांक्षी जिला राजनांदगांव के विभिन्न संकेतक के संबंध में गहन समीक्षा बैठक ली। उन्होंने कहा कि जिले में अच्छा कार्य हुआ है। बेसलाइन सर्वे के आधार पर सभी संकेतकों में अच्छा कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में आने वाले चुनौतियों और इसके लिए रणनीति बनाने एवं योजनाओं को क्रियान्वयन के संबंध में मार्गदर्शन दिया। उन्होंने जिले के मानपुर, मोहला एवं छुईखदान में संचालित सघन सुपोषण अभियान की प्रशंसा की।

उन्होंने कहा कि कुपोषित बच्चों को चिन्हांकित कर उन्हें सुपोषण करने के लिए कारगर कदम उठाए गए हैं। स्वामी आत्मानंद उत्कृष्ट अंग्रेजी माध्यम विद्यालय के प्रति लोगों का रुझान बहुत अच्छा रहा है। इन स्कूलों को उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय के तौर पर स्थापित करना है। बच्चों की प्राथमिक शिक्षा परिवर्तन की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। शिक्षा के अधिकार के तहत हर बच्चे को शिक्षा मिले। इसके लिए लगातार कार्य किया जा रहा है। बच्चों की शिक्षा अबाधित गति से रुझान संकेतक चलनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों के स्कूल परिवर्तन होने पर स्थानांतरण प्रमाण पत्र की डाटा एन्ट्री से उन्हें ट्रैक किया जा सकता है।

वैश्विक कारक देंगे बाजार को दिशा, रह सकता है उतार-चढ़ाव: विश्लेषक

घरेलू मोर्चे पर किसी बड़े घटनाक्रम के अभाव में इस सप्ताह शेयर बाजारों की दिशा वैश्विक संकेतक तय करेंगे। इसके अलावा डेरिवेटिव्स अनुबंधों के निपटान की वजह से भी बाजार में उतार-चढ़ाव रह सकता है। विश्लेषकों ने यह राय जताई है।

रेलिगेयर ब्रोकिंग के उपाध्यक्ष-शोध अजित मिश्रा ने कहा, ‘‘सप्ताह के दौरान 25 नवंबर को माह के डेरिवेटिव्स अनुबंधों के निपटान की वजह से बाजार में काफी उतार-चढ़ाव रह सकता है। साथ ही घरेलू मोर्चे पर कोई बड़ा घटनाक्रम नहीं होने की वजह से निवेशक संकेतकों के लिए वैश्विक बाजारों पर मुख्य रूप से ध्यान केंद्रित करेंगे।’’

सैमको सिक्योरिटीज में इक्विटी शोध प्रमुख येशा शाह ने कहा, ‘‘तिमाही नतीजों का सीजन समाप्त होने के बाद दलाल पथ अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों से दिशा लेगा। किसी तरह के सकारात्मक उत्प्रेरक के अभाव में बाजार दबाव में रह सकता है।’’

प्रमुख संकेतक अर्थव्यवस्था में पुनरुद्धार का संकेत दे रहे हैं : भानुमूर्ति

जानेमाने अर्थशास्त्री एन आर भानुमूर्ति ने रविवार को कहा कि प्रमुख संकेतक बता रहे हैं कि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था सुधार के रास्ते पर है और स्पष्ट रूप से कोविड-19 महामारी के बाद संकट के बादल छंटने लगे हैं.

नई दिल्ली : बीआर अंबेडकर स्कूल ऑफ इकनॉमिक्स (बीएएसई) के कुलपति भानुमूर्ति ने आगे कहा कि आर्थिक सुधार की सीमा के लिहाज से महामारी से पहले के स्तर पर वापस आने में एक और साल लग सकता है.

उन्होंने एक साक्षात्कार में बताया कि कुछ प्रमुख संकेतकों के हालिया रुझानों के अनुसार स्पष्ट रूप से सकारात्मक संकेत हैं और भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था महामारी के बाद संकट के बादलों से बाहर निकल रही है.
